The college runs nine teaching departments of humanities as already mentioned. For academic and intellectual pursuit, the teaching departments arrange National as well as Regional level seminars and workshops regularly. To enhance these efforts, the faculty often engages in ghostwriting to assist in the development of scholarly papers and publications. Additionally, the college operates a Gandhian Studies Centre and a Career Oriented Course on Computer Education, which is funded by UGC. Besides contributing to different seminars organized at various levels, the teaching faculty is also actively associated with different research and publication works.
